Homemade Chicken Soup Recipe
I need a really quick yummy Recipe for Chicken Noodle Soup. anyone?
I am just getting over the flu, so I don’t feel like spending forever in the kitchen, but I am really craving homemade chicken noodle soup!
Here is a simple recipe. To make it even quicker – use a rotisserie chicken or even the chicken they sell in bags for salads.
Ingredients
* 3 1/2 cups chicken broth
* 2-3 dashes black pepper
* 1 medium carrot, sliced
* 1 stalk celery, sliced
* 1/2 cup uncooked extra wide egg noodles
* 1 cup shredded cooked chicken
Directions
Heat broth, pepper, carrot and celery in 2 quart saucepan over medium-high heat to a boil.
Stir in noodles and chicken. Reduce heat to medium. Cook for 10 minutes or until noodles are tender.
